Working with solar systems often involves elevated structures, electrical risks, and outdoor environments, which is why we prioritise strict health and safety practices to protect our team, our clients, and the surrounding environment. All our clients receive a safety file which is audited throughout the project ensuring we are compliant with all regulations. Customers receive a weekly report on progress, and any health and safety issues or recommendations.

Every member of our team is equipped with industry-approved PPE. This includes:

• Hard hats to protect against falling objects.
• Safety glasses to guard against dust, debris, and glare.
• Protective gloves to reduce injuries from electrical and mechanical equipment.
• High-visibility clothing for safe site coordination.
• Non-slip, reinforced footwear to ensure stability when working on rooftops or elevated platforms.

Solar installations often require work on rooftops or elevated structures. To mitigate the risk of falls, our teams:

• Use certified anchor points and safety lines at all times, installed by a third-party certified company.
• Employ lockable cat ladders and fixed access systems to safely reach elevated areas.
• Conduct thorough pre-project risk assessments to identify potential fall hazards.
• Receive ongoing training in fall arrest and height safety procedures.

Solar panels are installed in exposed areas where lightning strikes are possible. Our lightning risk assessments are undertaken by a professional lightning risk assessment company.

Our installation will include all the recommendations provided in the LRA Report.

A full Structural Engineering report is commissioned for each site to ensure the structures are safe to add PV. This is done by a qualified 3 rd party.
